VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA, March 25, 2020: Cordoba Minerals Corp. (TSX-V:CDB; OTCQB:CDBMF) (“Cordoba” or the “Company”) today announces that it is closely monitoring the impact of the Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) and is prepared for the potential short-term impacts on its development and exploration projects. Cordoba’s primary focus remains on the health and safety of all its employees and contractors as well as its host communities. To this end, all staff and contractors in Colombia, the United States and Canada are now working from home and self-monitoring for signs of infection. There have been no confirmed cases of COVID-19 associated with Cordoba employees or contractors to date.
In Colombia, a Presidential Order has been issued for mandatory nation-wide isolation, which includes strict limits on the movement of people, a restriction on international and domestic air travel and the closure of non-essential businesses. As a result, Cordoba has suspended all in-country operations, but will continue to advance desk-top work on the pre-feasibility studies for mine development at the Alacran Copper-Gold-Silver Deposit.
